These are images which show traces of British colonialism in Hong Kong. The postbox shown in the picture is a replica of the British post box design, with the same engravings, but in green instead of red. The street road sign shown reads ‘Queen’s Road West’ and the Queen in this name is derived from Queen Victoria of the British Empire. There are many traces of British colonisation we can see around Hong Kong, such as old architecture, building names and many more. People keeping these names the same despite the handover shows their value and respect towards the British Empire.
